A small publication about AI, for anyone.¶
You live with AI now, whether or not you work in software. We write here to help you think about it carefully, not how to build it, but how to use it well and keep your own judgment while you do.
AI is a partner that can make us better, not replace us.
What lives here¶
We are an observability company. That means we watch software systems for a living. The work has taught us specific things about how AI behaves when no one is watching, and we think those things are useful to people outside our trade. We are writing them down here, in language a person who does not work in software can read.
Essays, as they are ready. No schedule. More will follow when there is something true enough to say.
We will be ok¶
The premise the whole publication works from: AI is a partner that can make you better, not a replacement and not a threat, useful and fallible in exactly the way a partner is.
Your name stays on it¶
A good partner is not enough. When AI does its part well, the harder work is staying the one who decides and answers for it, in the suit, in the clinic, at the kitchen table.
Borrowed judgment¶
What happens when the tool does the work before you ever learn it. On the judgment that never forms when AI is right from the first day, and why no metric will warn you it is missing.
A younger reader¶
We also publish a kids' tier at kids.immersivefusion.academy. The same ideas, told for a younger reader, with a small robot named Mosey and a teal blob named Wobble.
What you will not find here¶
We do not sell on these pages. We do not capture leads. We do not track you. See what this publication refuses to do for the full list, dated and signed.
